Nigel Farage & Declan Ganley: The 'beast' of friends

Nigel Farage & Declan Ganley: The 'beast' of friends

Clean EUkip up NOW & make UKIP electable!

The corruption of some of EUkip’s leadership
& NEC is what
gives the remaining 10% a bad name!

EUkip LEADERSHIP HAVE SHOWN THEIR INCOMPETENCE IN ALL FORMS OF NEGOTIATION - FORCED WHEN FAILING TO INVENT BNP PLOTS & INFILTRATION TO JUSTIFY THEIR FAILURE!

Ganley may not be very ept Politically but he is not a fool!

You should all take Nigel Farage's hostile reaction to Declan Ganley ( pictured above) with a large pinch of salt. He is simply acting like anyone who has been soundly rejected. You need to remember that a few weeks ago he couldn’t praise Declan enough.

Nigel was rather eager to win the support of Mr Ganley as he knew that any party launched by him was bound to take votes away from UKIP and thus lessen Nigel‘s chances of getting re-elected to the EU Gravy Train.

During the summer Nigel was keen to woo Declan and so met him to discuss terms and conditions. Unfortunately, Nigel’s dictatorial tendencies soon kicked in and he demanded that he personally been given total control of any UK campaign financed by Mr Ganley. It was hardly surprising that Declan said no. The talks quickly broke down.

Thanks to Nigel’s ‘fuehrer complex' UKIP lost the best chance to win a major financial backer and thus prevent certain electoral defeat.

Thanks Nigel.
With a clown like you 'leading' UKIP who needs an opposition!

The Sioux Might Wish to Warn The Irish

The Sioux Might Wish to Warn The Irish (G020)
29-Dec-2008 marks the 118th. anniversary of the massacre of The Lakota Souix under Chief Big Foot of The Miniconjou Souix at Wounded Knee less than 2 weeks after the murder of Sitting Bull by US Cavalry at Standing Rock Reservation.Similarly 29-Nov was the 144th. anniversary of the massacre, by the Militia of Colnel John Chivington, of a defenceless Cheyenne and an Arapaho villages at Sand Creek.
The Irish may care to learn from the wisdom of the Indiginous peoples of America - Never trust a treaty signed against one's better instincts, against one's will and sold to such an extent that they were prepared to lie.
The Cheyenne, The Arapaho, Sitting Bull, The Miniconjou, The Lakota and Big Foot had binding Treaty Agreements with a nascent super State seeking to increase its control.
Some amongst The Irish will recal that John Major signed an agreement with The EU termed by The Sun newspaper on its banner front page as Game, Set & Match to Major yet it seems it was not valid since The EU have just arbitrarily overturned the Treaty - as did The Colorado Militia and the US 7th. Cavalry.
It would seem that The EU is no respecter of agreements either and Ireland is to vote again to make it possible to claim they voted for their own demise as a Nation State!
No massacre here just the death of democracy and self determination granted at great cost in 1922.
& to think that Declan Ganley AND the British Tory Party are so stupid as to believe that The EU can be changed from within!
Sand Creek Colorado and Wounded Knee will hold no torch to the massacres that will result from the enforcement of The EU on a largely resistant peoples!

To try to put a value on Freedom is as futile as floccipaucinihilipilification and the metissage of our societies, as we rummage in the ashes of our dreams, the flotsam of our hopes and the jetsam of our lives.

EUkip DOES ITSELF NO FAVOURS - AS EVER! 27-Dec-08

Written by Chris White

My interjections are in Black Italic for differentiation

Only days after multi-millionaire Declan Ganley
held a prestigious lunch in Brussels to announce that his political party Libertas EU will campaign across Europe in the coming June European elections someone appears to have stolen a march on him.

To view the entry at The Electoral Commission's web site Click Here You will of course be minded that EUkip are not on the best of terms with The El.Com. being subjects of a Guilty verdict in the Courts for the dishonesty, in terms of electoral law, of Nigel Farage, David Lott, Andrew Smith and others in EUkip's leadership/management.

Playing fast & loose with registration for 'posture' sake will hardly endear EUkip with a Judicial Review pending!

Bridget Rowe, self styled dynamic newspaperwoman and close friend of Nigel Farage the charismatic leader of the United Kingdom Independence Party, is listed as “leader” of newly registered Libertas UK on the electoral commission’s website register of political parties.

The party’s address is given as 400 Main Road, Westerham Hill, in Kent, which is believed to be Bridget Rowe’s home. Her nominating officer is J.M. Greenbough and her Treasurer is given as Damian Wilson.

Bridget Rowe, whose Fleet Street reputation does not match her own claim on her page at the Jaque Evans Management Ltd web site, has been a speaker at UKIP rallies.

You will note that Ms. Rowe has been noted back in November if you Click Here - she has been portrayed as brassy and foul mouthed lacking the competence or gravitas to take other than a bit player role.

She is known in Brussels as a key UKIP player who is close to Nigel Farage.

Is this not a benefit enjoyed by all the women he buys in! Farage's propensity for the paid services of his female staff are much commented on - as with his proud boast that he did not pay the prostitute who he was repor
ted to have been with by The News of The World.

UKIP officials close to the leadership have described her as “the replacement national press officer”.

Either this UKIP insider has defected to Libertas or, it is being speculated, she has launched a spoiler operation.

I very much doubt she has joined Libertas/Ganley as I am given to understand Ganley has no interests in EUkip seeing them as 'A busted flush' and I doubt Declan Ganley would be much impressed by her challenged vocabulary and lack of skills.

Under the Registration of Political Parties Act of 1998 brought in after a party calling itself Literal Democrats caused confusion and damage to the Liberal Democrats no other party can now use a name close to Libertas.

There is a posibility that Ms. Rowe is profiteering, on an insider basis, by 'Name Squatting' - You may well recal that I purchased various UKIP web addresses to prevent them being purchased by enemies of UKIP - sadly having provided them in good faith to UKIP they have now fallen under the control of UKIP's enemies the corrupt leadership and NEC of EUkip.

We have been unable to contact Libertas although a Brussels official promised before Christmas Day that someone would contact us. Paul Nuttal, UKIP party chairman, did return our call to say he was unable to contact his leader Nigel Farage on Christmas Eve.

Mr Nuttal did say that he knew nothing about the registration of a party by Bridget Rowe.

Surely no one should be surprised that Farage's puppet NuttAll hasn't a clue what is going on! He will merely be used as a tool and puppet to carry out Farage's bidding. Farage is now so deeply unpopular within EUkip & more so in UKIP that he can trust virtually no one - they could not trust him!

He speculated that if Mr Farage was behind a “spoiler operation” it would be a great story. A source close to UKIP told us that this was the most likely explanation “since Nigel Farage has done something very like this before”.

It is VERY unlikely that Farage would have ANY plan further than trying to get HIMSELF elected. EUkip is bereft of leadership, has no vision, less strategy and no structure.

Just how Declan Ganley who lives in Galway and is blamed by the EU for orchestrating the Irish no to the Lisbon Treaty campaign and who made his millions as a contractor to American defence industries could have overlooked such a fundamental issue as registering his party in the UK is a matter for speculation.

Sadly it is becoming increasingly noticeable that Libertas is walking into every pitfall and has little political nouse or agility.

UKIP will campaign in the June elections on a policy of leaving the EU.

Though it is well known that Nigel Farage proposed that EUkip should change its stance and become far more involved within the EU as a Reformist Party but was voted down, even by his puppets and placemen that are the NEC & Leadership. In desparation to have total control Farage has put forward a fanciful story of BNP infiltration though only the VERY gullible give any credence to the lies.

Declan Ganley poses as much, if not more of a threat to the British Conservatives campaigning on a policy of EU Reform as to UKIP. After his press conference in Brussels just eight days before Libertas UK was registered Libertas EU said in a statement:

“Speaking to a packed Press Conference at Libertas’ newly opened European Headquarters in Brussels, Mr. Ganley said that Libertas would field candidates across the European Union on a common pro-European platform of democracy, accountability and transparency.“

Mr. Ganley stated that Europeans have reached a crossroads:
“If people want a strong and healthy Europe that is democratic and answerable to them, they should vote for a Libertas candidate. If they do not want Europe to succeed or if they are happy with the current undemocratic practises, then they should vote for an incumbent party. For those who weren’t given a vote on the Lisbon Treaty, this will be their referendum”.

Libertas in the UK clearly can not see its complete irrelevance as they are merely putting forward a Conservative Party Policy with slight differences - The Tories have much to fear from this faction but EUkip is providing all the causes of their own demise, without help from outside.

“Libertas will run candidates in every country where the candidates are of a high standard, committed to the Libertas’s pro-European stance and its platform of democracy, accountability and transparency aimed at bring European back to the people.”

The statement 'candidates of high quality' is a very subjective judgement especially having left their venture so late - consider for a moment the staggeringly poor calibre of the vaste majority of British Politicians of all parties and then wonder just what Declan Ganley will offer that can establish candidates of callibre!

RUMOUR to XMAS Views of EUreferendum

Hi,

In view of a studied self importance that would seem to have little grounding in either reality or fact you may wish to study a range of views covering the Rumours to Xmas

To date I can only see the same vision, intelligence and policies as can already found in The British Conservative Party.

So it is Tory Light with an Irish lilt - Political Shandy - little political nouse and nothing new there then!

I might have had more optimism had I seen the name of Professor Anthony Coghlan amongst either the credits or the plaudits, so well earned in the first Irish Referendum, but sadly I note only that willey old profiteer Jens Bonde. No signs of political vision, no sign of philanthropy just Tory Light with one man's cash flow and the desperate hopes of a leaderless mass who are rightly desperate - in the ligth of the utter incompetence of the political leadership we suffer.

Would that Mr. Ganley's ambitions were rather better informed and offered values beyond the small minded objections to the New Constitution Lisbon Treaty as it pertains to Catholic Ireland?

We need another Political Party with ambition and little vision like we need a hole in the head!

Consider the cost of Politicians already and it is openly stated by Libertas that it is their belief that they can change The EU from within - where have we heard that before:

could it be Labour 'we must take our position at the centre of The EU to have maximum influence'

perhaps Tory 'In The EU but not ruled by The EU'

Sorry - Declan Ganley and those Libertas seem to be attracting are self seekers NOT leaders, dreamers NOT visionaries. Disaffected Tories, mainly those who failed to influence the Tory Party and believe, wrongly, that they can influence Ganley's hirelings; also a generous smattering of Tories realising they will 'never make it' in the Tory Party plus many who tried UKIP but watched it fail primarily because it too was made up of Tory failures.

You need only look at Libertas' web site to understand this is a commercial operation being neither intellectual or visionary - even the marketing skills are clearly limited but no doubt the sales gimmicks vending tele benefits, broadband facilities, web design and phone systems will at least cover any costs Mr. Ganley may incur. Already every aspect of the web site is defensive seeking to justify - read their own material - it would seem to have chosen already to fail!

Are there not more responsible ways to ensure Irish girls have to travel abroad for abortions?

Why are the Irish, particularly, so determined to emmulate Islam and deny its women the right of self determination and destiny over their own bodies, what is their mutual fear of women that they are not allowed choice?

Does it really matter where people choose to fail? Grant them Libertas!

Regards,
Greg L-W.

GANLEY NEGOTIATES FROM A CONFUSED POSITION!

GANLEY NEGOTIATES FROM A CONFUSED POSITION!

After our cover picture of Declan Ganley, the Anglo-Irish millionaire who financed Ireland’s no to the Lisbon Treaty campaign, was taken the leader of the United Kingdom Independence Party echoed his words and told supporters they must be more positive on Europe.

Nigel Farage was at the featured meeting with Mr Ganley in the European Parliament, as were a range of eurosceptics including the meeting’s organiser the Conservative MEP and journalist Danial Hannan (pictured right) and the Austrian journalist MEP Hans Peter Martin (pictured left). The BBC later quoted Mr Farage as saying to his annual conference in Bournmouth:
‘I think we have got to change some of the things that we have been saying and some of the things that we have been doing."
A former Conservative Mr Farage added: "
We have not been offering good positive alternatives and what I want us to do is to paint a vision of a 21st Century relationship between Britain and our European neighbours.’’

Danial Hannan, a writer and executive editor of the right wing Daily Telegraph told us that he organized the parliament’s Ganley meeting under the loose euro-sceptic SOS Democracy movement.
"It was an open meeting and anyone was welcome," he said.
He would not be drawn on rumours circulating that Nigel Farage is preparing to move with some of his colleagues to the Conservative camp.
Mr Hannan is frequently seen dining with Mr Farage and after lunching at the Porto Fino restaurant last week they were seen returning to the parliament in deep conversation. Mr Hannan has been writing positive things in his telegraph blog that can be explained as journalistic objectivity or differently interpreted as politically significant.

He wrote on August 24:
"The UK Independence Party has had a makeover. Go to their website and you will find a fetching new logo involving butterflies.
Their point is to emphasise independence as a theme: not just the independence of the state, but also the independence of the citizen from the state.

"It’s potentially a very powerful combination. A similar formula was adopted by my favourite political party in the world, the Independence Party of Iceland...which has enjoyed 60 years of more-or-less uninterrupted power."
That he wrote the blog just days after Mr Farage visited Iceland to meet political leaders is curious unless of course the idea for the blog was generated at another lunch between the two friends.

When we spoke to Mr Hannan he said that UKIP has been having problems and that the party has just been through a "bitter and divisive" selection process.
But he was adamant that:
"I have absolutely no indication that Nigel is about to move out of the UKIP leadership. So far as I am aware he will be standing against me in the South East of England."

UKIP has been locked in legal disputes and these have begun to spill over to involve other eurosceptics, some of them in the Tory camp. Looked at objectively Mr Farage and his colleagues have been suffering increasing, and apparently politically motivated, attention from OLAF, the EU anti-fraud office and from anonymous complaints to UK police about expenses and allowances.
No charges have yet been brought.
Since when did OLAF accept anonymous complaints?

That EU institutions should be, apparently, engaged in persecuting elected representatives that the institutions have no reason to like in such a way is questionable to say the least. More significantly Conservative MEPs who publicly favour keeping their party in the existing centre right EPP-ED grouping have been on the receiving end of similar accusations.
UKIP may have undermined its moral high ground in this respect by planting media stories.
We have copies of an email from one UKIP candidate.
Right wing Conservative sceptics are also in the frame for feeding stories to the right wing euro-sceptic media in London. So far none of the accused has been brought to account by the parliament authorities for breach of the accounting rules let alone misuse of funds. Currently some half of all MEPs is under investigation pointing to a poor parliamentary administration system rather than fraud.

Meanwhile European Commission officials and others have been adamantly stating that "American neo-con money" is being used to fund eurosceptic movements.
Declan Ganley denied receiving American funds.
According to Labour MEP Richard Corbett writing in his own blog:
"He refused to answer questions as to where his "Libertas" No campaign obtained its massive financial resources." Mr Hannan would not be drawn on progress in forming a new right wing alliance beyond saying: "Our [eurosceptic] intention and that of David Cameron to leave the EPP is well known. We have accords with Czech and Polish parties but first we have to see the outcome of the European election next year. We are in a position to form the third largest group in the European Parliament.
So it’s all just an amazing coincidence then?
To view the original of this story in EU Reporter
EUkip's attempts to realign as a pro EU Reformist Party have been widely noted and although obviously seen amongst the leadership, particularly when you note the various sell outs and the failure of leadership, which has been followed up by appointment of high profile, and largely discreditted, staff who support EU membership - 'Gone Native' seems ever more appropriate!

Many A Fortune Has Been Lost On Ill Conceived Ego Trips!

We will commence regular commentary when something of significance commences.

At the moment it is hard not to believe that Libertas knows less about what it is doing than does its audience!

We note that as yet they seem not to have registered themselves as a Political Party in The UK.

http://www.libertas.co.uk/ would seem to have some strange concepts of Politics.

No Manifesto seems to be available.

The Constitution is seemingly unwritten.

The Launch is seemingly planned for February though they seem utterly unprepared and may well find it collides with the electoral period being technically within 4 months of the election!!

There are no offices, no phones & no structure.

Britain requires some 8 or 9 people on a dozen lists as candidates (about 100) - as yet to be selected/elected!

One is forced to ask has Declan Ganley the vaguest notion as to what he is doing - besides making money from the Libertas web site selling lesbian sex toys and on his .EU site - Telecom Services!

It rather looks at the moment like one retired 1/2 Col. and a few of his mess chums who couldn't find jobs on retirement - as there doesn't seem to be any visible political insight nor overly much vision and less plan!

We shall see!

DECLAN GANLEY, LIBERTAS & THE TELEGRAPH

DECLAN GANLEY, LIBERTAS & THE TELEGRAPH

Irish anti-treaty campaigners to run candidates in British elections
Irish campaigners against the Lisbon Treaty are to put up candidates in Britain's Euro-elections next year in a bid to turn the poll into a referendum.

By Bruno Waterfield in Brussels
10 Dec 2008
Declan Ganley, leader of the Irish No campaign, will launch Libertas as pan-European party in Brussels today (THURS) as EU leaders meet to discuss a plan to make the Irish hold a second referendum.

The news that Libertas is running a British campaign will dismay the Labour Government, which is vulnerable after Gordon Brown defied the opinion polls to deny voters a referendum on the EU Treaty earlier this year.

David Cameron's Conservatives, who hoped to turn next June's European elections into a test for the Prime Minister's record, will also worry that many Tories will use their votes as a bigger single issue protest against the EU Treaty.

A statement from Mr Ganley's office said: "Libertas is a new European political movement dedicated to campaigning for greater democracy, accountability and transparency within the EU."

The Daily Telegraph has learned that Mr Ganley is recruiting a British soldier to be at the centre of his pan-European campaign.

The Libertas launch comes on the same day as a Brussels summit of EU leaders meets to find a way to bypass the Irish referendum 'No' vote in time for the Lisbon Treaty to enter into force by 2010.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy, who holds the EU's rotating presidency, has written to Europe's leaders to say that Brian Cowen, the Irish Prime Minister, will report back "on ways to succeed in ratifying the Treaty".

Libertas is aiming to break beyond the traditional Tory or UK Independence Party Eurosceptic constituency to win a majority of voters.

"The government reneged on promises to hold a referendum. The European elections can be turned into a popular vote on the Lisbon Treaty," said Libertas source.

Ganley fails to provide clarity on Libertas loan

The Irish Times

COLM KEENA, Public Affairs Correspondent

THE ANTI-LISBON Treaty campaigner Declan Ganley has not responded to a request for information from the Standards in Public Office Commission in relation to a loan he has said he gave to Libertas during the recent referendum.

Correspondence between the commission and Mr Ganley over the past number of months, seen by The Irish Times, shows that the commission has queried Mr Ganley and Libertas about a number of issues.

Libertas is estimated to have spent in excess of €1 million in its high-profile campaign against the treaty. Mr Ganley has said the money came from donations from the public since January 1st, 2008, all of them less than € 6,348.69, and all from Irish citizens or Irish companies. He has also said he made a personal loan of €200,000 available to the campaign, and that other loans from other unnamed parties were also used.

In a letter dated August 22nd, the commission sought a copy of the legal agreement and repayment plan for the loan Mr Ganley has said he made to Libertas. On September 23rd it repeated the request and added: "In addition to that information it would also be appreciated if you could provide the following information.

"Please state if any loans were provided to Libertas in relation to its referendum campaign by a financial institution. If loans were provided please state whether such loans were subject to the terms and conditions that are normally imposed by a financial institution and that the provision of such loans did not constitute a donation to Libertas.

"Please provide details of any other loans provided to Libertas in relation to its referendum campaign by individuals or bodies which were not financial institutions." The commission on September 11th wrote to Mr Ganley seeking details concerning Rivada Networks employees who worked on the Libertas campaign.

Rivada Networks is the Irish subsidiary of a US company that supplies communications infrastructure to the US military and others. Employees of the Irish subsidiary were signatories of the document that established Libertas.

In the course of the referendum campaign, Libertas activist Naoise Nunn told The Irish Times he was an employee of Rivada who did work for Libertas at the direction of Mr Ganley. Mr Ganley has told the commission that the employees of Rivada who worked on the Libertas campaign did so in a voluntary capacity.

On October 15th, Mr Ganley was asked to reply to the various requests for information that had been sent to him in the period since August 22nd, and to do so within 14 days. The commission said it was preparing a report for the Oireachtas which would include details of the inquiries it has made concerning the funding of Libertas.

Mr Ganley has not as yet responded to this, but a solicitor has on his behalf written to the commission late this week complaining about correspondence with the commission being released into the public domain. The correspondence was released in the wake of a Freedom of Information Act request.

Mr Nunn was the "responsible person" in Libertas in relation to the entity's obligations to the commission. He informed the commission in September that he had resigned from Libertas on the 19th of that month.

In a letter to the commission on July 7th, Mr Ganley said that "under the definitions of the elector acts, Rivada Networks Ltd made no donations to Libertas".

He also said his loan to Libertas "involved a detailed legal agreement with a repayment plan in accordance with commercial lending norms and signed in accordance with the relevant section of the electoral acts".

Libertas did not wish to comment when contacted yesterday.
